SLA por prioridad y por equipo, tiempo de resolución, tendencia semanal y los tickets abiertos ya fuera de SLA.SLA by priority and team, time to resolve, weekly trend and the open tickets already out of SLA.

Qué he hecho

The problem

Every service desk tool has dashboards, but the monthly review usually starts from a CSV export and a spreadsheet. I wanted the same numbers, every time, from that export.

What I built

A report that reads a ServiceNow-style CSV (number, opened, resolved, priority, category, assignment group, state) and produces:

  • SLA compliance by priority and by team.
  • Median and mean time to resolve.
  • The weekly trend.
  • Open tickets already out of SLA, plus sla_breaches.csv.

How it is built

Python, standard library only. The default SLA targets are P1 4 h, P2 8 h, P3 24 h and P4 72 h, and --sla changes them. Six tests.

What I learned

The median tells a different story from the mean: a few very long tickets move the mean a lot, and the median shows what most users actually live with.

Next steps

  • Export your tickets to CSV from ServiceNow or any other tool and map the columns.
  • Set your own SLA targets per priority with --sla.
  • Use the same report every month so the numbers are comparable.
